Dylan wins national prize

Congratulations to Dylan Jonkers who won an “outstanding arrangement” award for his original song.

Dylan was one of many students from around NZ who entered the NZ Hook Line and Singalong original song competition. Students need to no older than 19 years of age and the song needs to be about what it means to live in NZ and able to be played on a ukulele.

The Overall Winner of Hook, Line and Sing-A-Long 2017 was Anouk van Dijk from Onewhero Area School, Waikato with her original song “Cape Reinga.”

Chisnallwood will join others around NZ on May 31st to sing the winning song.
