Key dates for 2022 entry:

• Wednesday 5th May 2021, 6.30pm, Burnside High School Staffroom: Information evening for prospective SMP students and parents
• Thursday 20th May 2021, 3.00pm: Applications for first round of auditions and SMP scholarships close (no late applications will be accepted for scholarships).
• Tuesday 24th May 2021, 3.00pm: Deadline for video audition submissions
• Friday 28th May 2021: Interviews for selected candidates. These are being held at The Piano Centre for Music and the Arts, Armagh St.)
• Thursday 22nd July – Final deadline for ALL OTHER SMP applications
• Tuesday 26th July, 3.00pm: Final deadline for video audition submissions
• Friday 30th July 2021: Final interview session for selected candidates for 2022 entry – all year levels. These are being held at The Piano Centre for Music and the Arts, Armagh St.)

Burnside High excels nationally in many genres of music such as orchestra, jazz band, funk, rock, choirs, chamber and many Chisnallwood students have gone through Burnside on on to careers in the music industry.
