Christchurch Primary Schools’ Festival & NZ Choral Federation Online Kids Sing-along

The choir have had a busy year despite a disruptive first term! We performed at the Christchurch Primary Schools Festival in our beautiful Town Hall this year! We sang alongside hundreds of students from all around Christchurch. We had a couple of students in the representative groups: Tessa Scott on violin in the orchestra and yasmin Thompson on flute & piccolo in the Concert Band. It was an amazing concert!! It was hard to believe that everyone performing was 13 or younger!

Recently, we have been working on ‘Summertime’ for the NZ Choral Federation Online Kids Sing-along with some choir members also picking up the ukulele to play along. You can listen to our efforts in the video attached! Enjoy!
