Well done to the 16 sound techs who trained in the holidays. They covered a lot of skills to do with sound, lights and audio-visuals at Chisnallwood and got to work with Jono Teague, an audio engineer and ex-Chisnallwood music student.
There is a free STUDIO TOUR on May 15 at Orange Studio in Ferrymead as part of NZ Music Month. There are both adult and junior tours. Booking is at orangestudio.co.nz/shows/ This studio is owned by ex-Chisnallwood music student Michael Bell.
Thank you to Lena Krakowiak who played so well for Waitakiri School on Monday at the local ANZAC memorial.
Students who applied to audition for the Primary Schools’ Music Festival Special groups now have audition times and locations allocated. Please see Mrs Bell if you have any questions.
In May we are looking forward to a number of extra music events celebrating…
