On Dec 1st Jesse Clifford performed our school version of the NZ National Anthem as part of the opening of the new Little Poland Park near Prestons Road. The park commemorates the 80th anniversary of NZ receiving over 700 Polish children during World War II. Five of the original children who arrived in 1944 attended the ceremony. The Polish national anthem was also sung and there was traditional Polish dancing. You can check out the park on the corner of Oakbridge Boulevard and Burkett Street.
