Established in 2011, the Brighton Community Event has become a cherished tradition, uniting our community in celebration and showcasing the vibrant tapestry of cultures within Brighton. Held on Waitangi Day, this event holds special significance as we recognize the importance of this day while celebrating the unique qualities of Brighton and its people.

We were thrilled to witness the outstanding performance of our 2023 Celtic Band, whose talents truly shone bright on the day. Well done to all members for their amazing showcase of skill and passion!

Additionally, it was a delight to reconnect with the year 8 students from last year, adding a special touch of nostalgia and camaraderie to the festivities.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event a resounding success. Let’s continue to come together as a community, celebrating our unity and heritage for years to come.
