Congratulations to Kate Poultney and Lily Leigh!!

Kate Poultney and Lily Leigh won a joint “best vocals award” from the 2021 Bandquest competition Canterbury Region #2!

Congratulations to Kate and Lily who sing in the band “Futuritstic” and certainly did a great job with their independent vocal lines and stage presence. Well done!

Congratulations to all our 4 bands who entered this year to an online version of Bandquest: Futuristic, Childish, Half a Brain Cell and Debatable. They all played two cover songs each, with the band “Childish” playing their an original song as well as a cover.

Our bands were part of the Canterbury #2 region. There were three regions for Canterbury that would have been held over three nights if we had been in level one.

Thanks to the itinerant tutors who help get the players ready throughout the year and to parents for their support. Hopefully we will get to hear the bands live one day.
