Congratulations to the JazzBand on achieving a bronze award at the secondary school 2021 JazzQuest event in August!

We had both our combo and big band play in the two ARA JazzQuest events and both groups achieved bronze awards and played very well! Ours was the only pre-secondary school involved.

The jazz band has 5 gigs over Labour weekend, so you can catch them there! They will be preparing for these performances at our Hanmer Band Camp in the October holidays. Gigs for them in term 4 include playing an Early Childhood show, playing at a retirement village, Christmas events and playing for the general public at the Christchurch Big Band Festival.
